With all the drama yesterday (my daughter went missing out of the park for five minutes but as she is only 5 years old, that is a lifetime), I forgot to mention that Tiffany's Bookshelf has reviewed Surfacing too, and given it a good one. Thanks Tiffany!

5 star rating for Descending!
I just got a 5 star review from Tiffany's Bookshelf!!

I am so happy about this because Tiffany's Bookshelf is a popular and well designed review site. Apparently Tiffany also liked the sequel, Surfacing, so watch this space!

Back to my Freelance Journalism Course...
An update:
I have done 6/12 of the London School of Journalism course, and then thought: I've had enough of this. And got distracted by fiction writing. I am waiting to hear from a publisher about my Victorian historical romance, while working on another one about Viking/ Saxon lerve in the 10th century...
But the other day, after over two months, I realised I had to start lesson 7 of my course. I am NOT going to waste the money I paid for it and it is a useful course. I'm just so easily distracted by shiny things, that I've let it slide a bit.
So: Onward and Upward, as my friend and fellow author Lorraine Holloway-White says! A good motto...

Japanese Earthquake Appeal
My friend and fellow author, Stella Deleuze, has written a book 'Excuse Me, Where is the Exit?' and all profits are going to help those affected by the Japanese earthquake.
Here is her site, please buy it. You will have a laugh at the book and do good for others at the same time:
